Hi Rick. I am putting together a cycle event planned for Oct. 19, 2013 and need some help. I was wondering if I could pick your brain a little about routes etc. Looking for 30/65 mile w/ a start/finish around (Garner, Holly Springs area) I am "very green" at this but want to learn. I'm not familiar w/ local routes yet. I hope you can help. :) Deanna

Hi Rick,

I just joined the club so I can ride with you on Thursday, April 14 at 6 pm. I'm a long time member of the Potomac Pedalers who prefers a relaxing pace of 12 mph for about 20-25 miles. So I'm pleased to see your ride seems just right for me.

But since I've never been to Raleigh, I don't know where the ride goes or what it's like. I'm flexible. Can you tell me more about where you meet and where you ride? I have a GPS, so I can find you if I have an address of some type. I'll be staying somewhere near Raleigh at a Hampton Inn, so please tell me if there's one near your ride.

Oh yeah, I'm a fun guy with tint-challenged hair who just quit the working world. So I'm ready to have a good time with you guys.

I am new to cycling and did the women's ride last night with CSH and was thinking about doing the Saturday 34 mile ride from Salt Box Village but not sure I can make it that far...is it hilly?. can you give me an idea of how many hours this usually goes for. We did 16 in 1.5 last night.

Hi Rick,Its backintheesaddle I had mailed my membership form and dues but have not recieved any feedback,I will be joining the Slow Spokes on Thurs. 4-28 trying to find the release form on this sight so I can bring it with me havent found it yet???
